Scripture to Live By:
For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. Isaiah 61:11
Gardening Post:
Gardening is a passion with me. I love planting and watching the beauty of my garden as things grow. I love to watch nature come alive in the spring and carry on in my gardens until the snow begins to fly. What beauty! What life! I marvel in God’s handiwork as I observe his masterful artwork and design all around me.
I love caring for my gardens even though it is a lot of work. It is enjoyable work and oh, so satisfying.
The work is endless but very rewarding when you are able to stand back and see the beauty of God’s art work in all the flowers He created. I am just the caretaker of all His beauty.
Weeping Cherry
Daffodils
A friend gave me a few Cannas several years back. They have multiplied greatly to the point of giving them away to friends and family members and planting three bushel of them, in our own yard.
They have all been planted and had time to grow, now they are blooming.

Clematis
Dianthus
Peonies

There are so many furry animals lurking around in our yard and
garden, some of them look on while you work.
Our yard is the home of a lot of bunnies. They are not afraid of us.
They don’t move very far when we are near.

Another friend gave me a bag of Gaint Dalhia’s, which have multiplied in the last few years so we planted approximatly three large bags of them through out our yard. In the area that we live in, the climate is to cold for Cannas and Dalhias to survive the winters so each fall they have to be lifted from the ground and stored in a dry place.
Giant Dalhia
Achillea Moonshine
Liatris spicata
Veronica
I didn’t plant these, so I do not what to call them. If you know, I would sure appreciate knowing.
Cleome and Cannas
I planted Spaghetti Squash in with my flowers. They have done quite well.
OOps! My grand children are doing their art work on the walk and adding their own beauty to my yard.
