Scripture To Live By:
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
Psalms 34:8
For neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish in the thing for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:8-11
Organization:
We are giving our garage a makeover and making it into a game room. Since our move here last August we have been in the process of trying to get organized and updating. The house is organized and now it is time to get the garage organized. We do not need a garage as badly as we needed another room. We wanted to use our garage for a new purpose, a man cave, so to speak, really a game room. So here is what it looked like before we started the makeover.
As you can see the process of cleaning out and organization was a much needed task even before for we could begin the process of garage makeover.
So we began the process of gathering up all the ladders and rakes, shovels, and various other tools and taking them out of the garage. Next we needed to find a new home for them. Where could we put all these items so that they would be readily accessible and organized? Then we thought of our boat shed where we store our 18 foot Sylvan Cutty Cab. This would make a fine home for these items. The tools will be out of the weather. The inside walls of the shed are not being used for anything else. Perfect Place!
My husband put up peg board and put all the garden tools of like kinds together. All the shovels, rakes and various other tools we had in the garage, that were for outdoor use, went on the peg boards. The peg boards covered a section of sixteen feet.
Then he hung several of the outdoor ladders on the metal wall by screwing 2 x 4’s to the walls and then screwing “J” hooks into the boards to hang the ladders on. Neatly hung and secure.
As you can see this has worked well for storing all of our outdoor garden tools and ladders and eliminated some of the clutter in the garage. The first step in our garage makeover.
With the amount of tools we have, we need to use any and all available space we can find. This area is working well for us. Hope what we did might be helpful to you, as you might be considering what to do with all those garden tools of yours.
Blessings,
