Scripture to Live By:
When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
In God will I praise his word: in the Lord will I praise his word.
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.
For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
Psalms 56:9-13

Recipe post:
I have had this recipe for quite some time. It was given to me by a friend but I made it for the first time yesterday. It was a really big hit with my husband and the Ladies Missionary Group. Many wanted seconds and some ask to take some home with them. So I thought maybe you might like to try it as well.
Here is what you will need:
1 cup of pecans or walnuts (chopped)
1 package of German Chocolate cake mix – prepared as directed on package
1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup margarine (softened)
2 cups of powered sugar
Sprinkle the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with chopped nuts.
Mix cake batter as directed on box and pour over nuts in baking dish.
Beat cream cheese, margarine and powdered sugar until well blended with mixer.
Drop by spoonfuls over the cake batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes to 1 hour. Cool before cutting into squares.
Remove from oven and cool completely before serving.
The cake looks like it has many craters.
The cream cheese mixture sinks into the cake and the German chocolate cake comes to the surface.
Sooo Good.
Blessings,
