Scripture to Live By:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
There was a man sent from God whose name was John.
He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe.
He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.
The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.
He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.
He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
(John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.”) Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
John 1:1-18
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. John 5:24
Jesus is the World’s Savior and Jesus Himself tells us He is the way to have eternal life.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.
How thankful I am that He is my Savior, from sins penalty which is separation from God.

What you will need:
1 package of Fudge Striped cookies
1 package Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Miniatures
1 can of Vanilla frosting
1 packages of orange or multi-color Tic Tacs
yellow food coloring
Dip tip of knife into yellow food coloring and blend coloring into frosting.
Add as much coloring as needed to get the shade you desire.

Set aside until ready to use.
Unwrap Reese’s Peanut Butter cup miniatures and set aside.
Lay out cookies with the stripes face down.
Using the filled pastry bag make a little larger than a dime size dot on each cookie
Once you have all your cookies dotted with frosting, place a
miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter cup in the center and press down as shown below.
After adding the Reese’s Peanut Butter Miniature Cups, put a orange Tic Tac in the center of the front,
of the Peanut Butter cup, at the base of the frosting as shown.
These Pilgrim Hats make a perfect favor on your Thanksgiving table.
They, also, make a special treat for your child’s Thanksgiving party at school or at club.
My family has made these for many years and have placed them at each plate setting as a favor.
These little Pilgrim Hats brighten up the table and add a treat for all.
They are so simple to make that the children enjoy making them.
What fun for the children to have their friends over to help them.
You could even tell the story of how and why the Pilgrims came to America.
We have so very much to be thankful for.
Blessings,
