Scripture to Live By:
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.
If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
James 1:19-27
I have made Delicious Dump Cake many times and really like it, but this is a new twist to it. We grow our own blueberries and look for new ways to us them. This cake is refreshing to the taste and is quick and each to make. It is great straight from the oven to the plate. So if you are looking for something that is delicious yet very simple to make, this is it. Why not give it a try? This is what you will need.
Recipe Post:
1 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple
1 box of yellow cake mix
4 cups of Blueberries – fresh or frozen
1 cup of sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 stick of butter or margarine melted
1 cup of chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Using a 9 x 13 inch dish. Spread the crushed pineapple with the juice into the bottom of the dish.
Then sprinkle the dry cake mix over the crushed pineapple.
Next, layer the blueberries, then sprinkle the cup of sugar over the blueberries.
Sprinkle cinnamon over the sugar.
Melt the stick of butter in microwave and drizzle over the blueberries.
. Next spread the pecans over the top and bake for 50- 60 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
Serve while warm.
It is also good with a scoop of ice cream on top.
Since I had pecan nuts in my dump cake, I put a scoop of butter pecan ice cream on it.
Delicious!!!
Store left overs in refrigerator.
Blessings,

Mmm, I love dump cake! A slightly healthier dessert that's also great with blueberries and pineapple is bread pudding.
