Scripture to Live By:
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:4,5,6
Recipe Post:
When we have family gatherings, my daughter-in-law usually brings a salad. Actually she is the one who introduced us to this mixture of salad dressings. It has become one of our favorites. My husband and I both enjoy it greatly, on a tossed salad with some extra toppings.
With the warm weather we are having we like to have salads more often. Salads are refreshing any time, but especially when the weather is hot, they seem to cool you down some. They are so good for you with all the healthy vegetables.
This salad dressing is so tasty, and it’s easy to make. I try to keep the ingredients on hand so I can make it on the spur of a moment.
What you will need for this dressing:
1 bottle of Ranch dressing (We prefer Kraft Fat Free to save on fat and calories) but when we don’t have that brand, I use what I have.)
1 bottle of Zesty Italian (We also prefer Kraft Fat Free, but you can use the brand you prefer.)
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese.
Blend well and store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
For the salad you will need:
1 can of La Choy Rice Noodles
2 heads of Romaine lettuce
1 small onion
1 pkg of Cheddar cheese
2 tomatoes
Wash the lettuce under running water.
My husband likes the lettuce cut up quite small,
so I cut his up on a cutting board with a knife.
I also cut up the tomatoes and the onion on a cutting board.
I put it all in a large salad bowl and top with the rice noodles, cheese.and dressing.
Mix the salad well and serve in individual salad bowls with Salad Muffins.
Top with a few extra rice noodles and banana peppers.
You will have to try this wonderful salad. The incredible flavor of this dressing mixture is one you must taste to believe. Try it for your family, friends, or social gatherings at church or work. It will surely be a hit with your guests.
Blessings,

Yummy! I've mixed ranch and italian together before (usually on my taco salads) but I'll have to try adding the Parmesan. The salad looks wonderful, esp. the banana peppers on top!
