Scripture to Live By:
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
John 12:34,35
Do you need a quick and easy treat for your family to celebrate your love for them without a lot of expense. Why not make them some Valentine cupcakes or better yet let them help you make them. You could also have them take a treat to school with them or give some to the neighbors to let them know you care. You can decorate them as little or as much as you would like. The pictures below are some of the things I had on hand to decorate with and I made these in as little as 30 minutes. So you still have time to make these up to share with others.
Make cupcakes as directed on the package I had some heart baking cup papers to make them look more festive but you can use what ever you have.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely before frosting.
I used strawberry canned frosting for these. I put the frosting in a pastry bag with a large star tip and just went around and around the cupcake until frosted as seen below.
Then I used some heart shaped sprinkles to fancy them up.
I had a package of Valentine heart picks on hand. I bought these after Valentine’s Day last year at a bargain price. I just placed one in the top of each cupcake.
Makes them look like I purchased them at the bakery.
One package of cake mix makes anywhere from 20- 24 cupcakes.
I love sharing with others and letting them know they are loved and very special to me.

Happy Valentines Day!!!
