Scripture to Live By:
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8
Most people want to be prosperous and very successful, but God tells us that to become truly prosperous and successful you must not let His word depart out of your mouth and you should meditate in it day and night. Not only that, but you must obey what is written in it continually. We see people who have all that the world we live in would call success (fame, fortune and high positions). They have made it as far as society is concerned, but many of them are struggling to live life with peace, joy and contentment. These are things that come from living in God’s Word and doing what it says. This is what God says is truly being prosperous and successful. I would much rather have God’s recipe for being prosperous and successful than any other, for then I can experience the peace of God that passes all understanding.
Recipe Post:
Avocado & Black Bean Focaccia
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
1 1/4 cups of warm water
1 Tablespoon sugar
1/3 cup of oil
Mix the above ingredients and let sit while you measure your dry ingredients below.
1 teaspoon of salt
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
Mix spices in a bowl and pour them into the above mixture and blend well.
Add flour a little at a time while mixing on low speed with the mixer.
2 1/3 cups of flour
Blend well. Let rise approximately 30 minutes. Spray your pizza pan with Pam spray but do not spray out to the edges of pan or the dough will not stay in place when you spread it out. Spread dough on pizza pan.
While dough is raising, get ingredients out for toppings.
Cook corn in microwave.
Open black beans, rinse and drain liquid off. Put them in a bowl.
Peel avocado and put it in a mixing bowl with the cream cheese and blend well.
Add salsa to mixture and blend well. This is the sauce for your pizza.
Cut up the peppers, onions, tomatoes and avocados and put in bowls along with your cheeses.
Bake pizza crust approximately 12 minutes. Remove from oven and spoon you sauce onto crust and then spread it to cover entire crust.
Put toppings on as follows:
Black Beans
Corn
Peppers
Tomatoes
Onions
Cheddar cheese
and
Feta Cheese
Avocado
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for another 15 – 20 minutes. It is ready to serve.
You could cut up some cucumbers and serve with the left over sauce as a dip. It is delicious.
Cut up some cucumber
You could add some chips to serve with the dip.
Your guests or family will rave about this pizza. It is truly one of the best, at least my husband thinks so. Hope you will try it. I think you will make it over and over.
Blessings,
