Scripture to Live By:
God wants us to share this message with all.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. ”
John 3:16-19
Food Post:
How to Peel an Avocado
I have bought many Avocados and I tried to peel them. I got the job done, but it wasn’t a pretty sight. I saw a lady making a dish with avocados, as one of the ingredients, and this is what she did to get the seed out and the meat of the avocado out. I thought the way she did it was so easy, so I decided I would share it with you.
I bought 3 avocados in a package
Cut the Avocado in half.
Take a spoon and run it under the seed and lift it out.
Take your spoon and run it around the inside of the skin
and gently lift the meat of the avocado out of the skin.
Place the meat on a cutting board or plate face down.
Slice with a knife, as shown below.
Serve on a plate or make it into a dip or guacamole.
There are so many uses for avocado and many recipes. An easy avocado dip, or guacamole recipe, with sour cream and chopped tomatoes, is found by clicking on this recipe title, Avocado Dip with Sour Cream.
Avocados are so healthy for you as the fat in them is a good fat that the body needs.
I hope this is helpful to you as you cut your Avocados. I know it was to me.
Blessings,

Even easier to get the pit out is to whack it with the heel of a chef knife to imbed the blade a little bit and twist it right out. Easy peasy!

I had a girlfriend that I just did a how-to for… but I didn't post it. I prefer to slice mine before I spoon it out of the shell. But this way works too!

This is how I peel my avocados as well. So many people use a knife to pull the pit out, but after a friend of mine cut a tendon in her hand doing that I decided I was going to use the spoon technique exclusively!
