For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you[f] to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
I found this idea on one of my friends Pinterest boards and decided to make it. Go here to see the source it came from. I made some last month to take to our Ladies Missionary Meeting. The ladies enjoyed them greatly. A few weeks ago I had an unexpected guest stop by to spend the night. I thought, what can I make that is quick and delicious. So I made these Crescent Pizza Roll. All of us enjoyed them. So I thought I would share them with you so you might try them.
What you will need:
2 (8 ounce) package of Crescent Roll Dough
8 cheese sticks, halved
1/2 pound of pepperoni sliced
1 jar of Ragu sauce for dipping.
Italian Garlic topping to go bush on the Crescent Pizza Roll
Add together:
1/4 cup of melted butter
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
I mix up the topping and set aside.
Unwrap the cheese sticks and cut them in half.
I put my pepperoni on paper towels and microwave it for 1 minute to get some of the grease out of it.
Unroll your crescent rolls on a pizza pan.
I put about 8 pieces of pepperoni on each crescent roll with one half of a cheese stick as shown below.
Then roll the crescent roll up over the cheese and pepperoni.
Using a pastry brush, brush the top of each roll.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve while hot, with heated Ragu Sauce as your dip.
These are delicious and so quick to make. If you need something in a hurry when something unexpected comes up, these will be a sure hit and you can make them in less than 30 minutes. This recipe makes 16 rolls.
Blessings,
