Recipe Post:
This recipe is my absolute favorite cookie recipe. It is quick and simple to make. It only takes four ingredients. These cookies are YUMMY!
This is what you will need:
6 cups of Coco Puffs
1 1/4 cups of sugar
3/4 cups of corn syrup
1 1/4 cups of peanut butter (I use crunchy peanut butter)
Pour 6 cups of Coco Puffs in a large bowl. Set aside.
Spread out wax paper on a table about 24 inches long to lay your Peanutty Coco Puffs Cookies on as you make them.
Add: 3/4 cup of corn syrup
1 1/4 cup of Sugar
Mix in sauce pan and bring to a very slight boil.
As soon as it comes to a slight boil remove from heat.
Immediately Add:
1 1/4 cup peanut butter
Mix well.
Pour peanut butter mixture over the coco Puffs, stir quickly.
With buttered hands scoop up a handful of mixture and form into balls as shown.
Makes approximately 24-30 balls, according to how large you make your balls. Cool and serve.
All my grandchildren enjoy these cookies, as much as I do. This recipe does not take but just a few minutes to make, but it is a hit with all who eat them. Make it and see if you don’t agree. I found this recipe in a cookbook, The Best 1001 Short, Easy Recipes.
