Scripture to Live By:
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.
Matthew 22:37-39
In order to do this we must deny ourselves in putting God and others in the place God wants us to. You probably have heard the saying, ‘It’s all about me, well God wants it to be about Him and others.
God is certainly our example of how to do this. As we study His Word and learn more of His character. We will see how He wants us to love Him and our neighbor. Our neighbor is everybody that God brings across our path. Jesus gave an example in Luke 10:25-37.

A friend gave me this recipe and later I saw it on Allrecipes.com. It is so good and very easy to make.
Here is what you will need:
2 8 ounce packages of cream cheese
2 cans of crescent rolls
1 Tablespoon of vanilla
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of butter or margarine
1/2 cup of sugar
1 Tablespoon of cinnamon
Unroll a can Crescent Rolls into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Pinch all the seams together.
Next put two 8 ounce packages of cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and 1 Tablespoon of vanilla and mix well.
Spread the mixture over the Crescent Rolls.
Unroll the second can of Crescent Rolls and put them on top of the Cream Cheese Mixture.
Melt the butter in the microwave oven, covered for 30 seconds or until melted.
Pour the butter over the top crust, as shown below.
Sprinkle one tablespoon of cinnamon on top of the butter
Sprinkle the 1/2 cup of sugar on top of the cinnamon.
Place in oven and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and cool completely. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
I took this to our Ladies Meeting at church and several ladies ask me for the recipe and others wanted to take some home to their husband. It will be a hit for sure. Why not try it.?
