Scripture to Live By:
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12 :2
That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
1 Peter 4:2
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Many believers desire to know the will of God for their lives. The Word of God has much to say about the will of God for each and all of us.
God has an immediate will for every person:
- To know God’s Word and obey it. (You must obey His immediate will in order to know His occupational will for your life.
- He reveals His occupational will as you obey His immediate will on a day to day basis.
- Learn God’s will for everyday life by reading His Word.
- Learn His occupational will by obeying His Word daily and He will reveal it to you.
- It is God’s immediate will to be kind, loving, honorable, speaking the truth in a loving way, to not deceive in any manner, to be faithful to your spouse, to share the gospel, to serve Him in the places we are.
Frugal Finds:
Each year my daughters and I look forward to the Community Garage Sales in my daughter’s housing development. It is a great place for a garage sale. I come away with so many pretty, good, frugal finds. At this particular sale I found these wall cabinets that are 12 inches deep, 48 inches wide, and 30 inches high.
I got them for $30 each. The grand total of $60.00.
With our limited space we decided to place one on top of the other and make it one unit.
My husband drilled holes in the doors to put cabinet knobs on them.
The knobs were a frugal find as well, we purchased them for $1.00 each.
I touched up the scratches on the toe kick, which is now at the top of the unit.
To decorate them up a bit I put one of these sayings on the
space that had been the toe kick of the cabinet.
Above the unit, I put a colorful swag that matches my kitchen..
Then I started organizing and filling my new (to me) cupboard with supplies
I am very pleased with how my frugal find turned out and with my added storage.
It is such a good feeling to know I saved money and it is something that can help me be more organized.
So, before you go out and spend a lot on needed items, why not try a garage sale or thrift store. Sometimes you can find some useful items at a very good price.
Blessings,

If only our old kitchen cabinets could work as garage storage too. We just had the kitchen remodeled and now we're realizing we should probably do the garage next.

You surely can get some great stuff from garage sales, me and my wife are always in search of such kind of sales, the cabinets you got are looking excellent after the paint job.
